Our Belief

Statement of Faith
We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the entire Scripture, both the Old and New Testaments, which are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The teachings and principles found in the Bible are the foundation of our faith and the guide for the Christian life (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the existence of one God who is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible. God is eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal and active in creation, redemption, and the sanctification of believers (Psalm 33:6-9, John 1:1-3).

We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of the world.
He was born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully human. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose again on the third day, and ascended to heaven. Through His death and resurrection, He provided redemption and salvation for all who believe in Him (John 3:16, 1 Peter 2:24, Acts 4:12

We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity.
The Holy Spirit indwells every believer upon salvation, empowering them to live a holy and transformed life. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, imparts spiritual gifts, guides, teaches, and comforts believers. The Holy Spirit also performs the work of regeneration and sanctification in the lives of believers (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 1:13-14).

We believe in the unity and growth of the Church, which is the body of Christ.
The Church is composed of all true believers, called to worship, fellowship, and support one another in love. We are also called to actively participate in the Great Commission, sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with others and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:42, Ephesians 4:15-16).

We believe in the doctrines of repentance and justification.
Repentance involves genuine sorrow for sin and a decision to turn away from it. Justification is the act of God’s grace by which we are declared righteous and forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Acts 3:19, Romans 3:24-25).

We believe in the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Water baptism is a symbolic act representing the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of Christ’s sacrificial death and a means of remembering His atoning work (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead. Believers will receive eternal life in the presence of God, while unbelievers will face eternal separation from God in hell (Acts 1:11, Revelation 20:11-15).

We believe in the resurrection of the dead.
There will be a final resurrection of both believers and unbelievers. Believers will be raised to eternal life in glorified bodies, while unbelievers will be raised to eternal judgment (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, John 5:28-29).

We believe in living a holy and dedicated life as followers of Jesus Christ.
We are called to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We strive to live in obedience to God’s Word, to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, and to fulfill our purpose in God’s Kingdom (Matthew 22:37-39, Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 2:10).

At RCCG Divine Throne Middlesbrough, UK, these are our core beliefs, rooted in the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. We are committed to living out these beliefs, growing in our faith, and sharing the message of salvation with the world.
